ACIBuilds.comJob Summary: The fire Suppression systems inspector will be responsible for the completion of service requests at various locations throughout your given territory (the greater Roanoke area). This opening is for a professional, responsible state-licensed Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Inspector. Inspect and test fire alarm and sprinkler systems to ensure that they function effectively and meet NFPA standards. Job Duties/ Responsibilities:Run test and inspection on fire alarmrun tests on fire sprinkler systemsRequires excellent communication skills with your Area Coordinator as requested for inspections completed, rescheduled etc.Good written and verbal communication skills required; Good interpersonal skills required4+ years of industry experienceRead and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specificationsFire Sprinkler Service/Inspection experienceFire Sprinkler Manufacturer's CertificationsFull-Time PositionFull-time with 40 hours weekly available, full benefits and PTOYou will be responsible to meet service calls in an efficient mannerIdentify emergencies and respond quickly to support and assist customers in needAbility to use geographical maps, Google Maps, and read/understand maps to schedule effectivelyCustomer Service OrientedYou will be responsible to answer and manage incoming calls with customers and office staffAccurately keeping thorough documentation of service callsOther duties as neededJob Qualifications & RequirementsGood written and verbal communication skills required; Good interpersonal skills required3 or more years of experience testing and inspecting commercial fire suppression systemsBasic skills using ipadNICET Certification (or willingness to obtain the certification)Must demonstrate excellent communication and listening skillsAbility to handle pressure, various tasks assigned, and meet deadlinesAbility to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and use a ladder up to 8-ftElectrical/low voltage certification and/or construction background a plusValid drivers license required.Fire Protection Suppression Inspector Final compensation will be determined based on experience, education, licensure, skills, and other relevant factorsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Recruitment/Staffing Agency Disclaimer: TriplePoint MEP and all entities within its group of companies do not accept unsolicited resumes from staffing or recruitment agencies.
