What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents critical situations and medical-related emergencies in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings patient care areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Assist with visitor access procedures directions and wayfinding while maintaining a professional presence in public-facing areas.
• Document incidents observations and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
